Obtain final approval signature from the project sponsor and designated stakeholders

The signature indicates the project closeout is complete and the project is over.
Note: If the project sponsor does not approve the project closeout, he or she should indicate the specific reasons for rejection. The project manager should resolve the issues and seek the project sponsor’s approval again.
